  What a terrible experience over all.
  We placed a delivery order through the mobile app for menu log which we have done countless times. And 15 minutes I later received a text message from menu log saying that Platinum Thai would not accept our order (no explanation as to why) After calling the restaurant I was informed that they cancelled the order because they didn't have any Lamb. This is the second time they have not been able to provide Lamb (why is something available for order when it is proven to be frequently off the menu) My second frustration comes down to the fact of instead of simply cancelling an order, why not a polite phone call to explain the situation?
  We were offered to place the same order again minus our lamb order directly through the restaurant when I called to enquire, to which we agreed. It then took just over an hour from the time we placed the order to have the food delivered (we live within a 4 minute drive). We were then charged an additional 10% because we ordered over the phone and the discount we were previously offered and agreed to was through menu log. I'm sorry but how is it justified to charge a customer extra for your own error? And if that was going to be the case would you not explain that over the phone when offering to proceed? Now out of the $73.90 we paid for our food I would believe it is within reason to expect something edible.
  A hot curry was ordered (hot apparently means just slicing up a load of chilli and throwing it on top). 2 serves of Platinum delight which was cold not only cold but dripping in oil. A cold pad Thai. Cold calimari that WAS NOT cooked properly and dim sims that to be honest, we didn't even bother trying. So over all we paid $73.90 to eat some garnish from the entree containers. Know the only logical explanation I can think of as to why it took so long and why our meals were cold is that they were made and put to the side while the restaurant was cleaned and closed so that it could simply be dropped off on the way home for the driver. What an abysmal experience, I would like a resolution. Feel free to come and get your food if that's what it will take.

  Food was nice but the service was extremely poor. I would recommend the banquets to anyone such poor value for money. You would be better off just ordering a different dish each. We had Entrée's with no sauce still waiting for it, hardly any rice was brought out for 4 people to share and lets just say how are 4 people suppose to share 5 prawns in the prawns dish. Its a shame as the food quality was great. I don't think I would go back purely on the bad service.
